In summer all the sidewalk café are overcrowled as soon as the sun is there! Especially since it is forbidden to smoke inside the café, sidewalk are very used... But in summer it is just the pleasure to sit outside and watch the Parisian life...

Although the support for cicling in the city is barely growing, every sunday some avenues are closed to cars so anyone can walk, run, skate or ride a bycicle. And the last sunday of every month the circuit is longer (about 30 km) around the city and that's called 'ciclotón' (cicling + marathon). Last sunday was the first anniversay.
On this photo you can see the roundabout of  "La Diana Cazadora" on the back.

WIth the new VELIB operation and more than 20.000 rent-a-bike ready now bicycling in Paris is real. By the way I have leave my car at home and use VELIB to go working!

i was going to a restaurant in Place Maillot (Le Sud, 91 Bld Gouvion St Cyr ) and the policewoman was controling the car traffic (huge in this place)....

Gigante (Soriana) is one of the biggest chains of supermarkets here. In Mexico, there are volunteers to pack the groceries, sometimes kids or elderly people.

Monoprix is one of the largest department store inside Paris. Pretty overcrowded every evening!
